Are you interested in understanding electrical designs and developing methods for verifying that the control units meet our demands and can cope in the vehicle environment. If you also like the mix of working on both theoretical and practical verification, there is now the opportunity to apply for a position in our group. Here at Electronic Control Units & EMC Verification, at Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje, we provide Scania with expertise within the field of electronic hardware and EMC verification.
As a test leader and developer, you will participate in several projects and be the organisation’s expert in terms of test methods for our control units. You will also play a role in supplier discussions in order to argue for, justify and analyse the testing required in development projects. Your duties will include understanding the product’s function and developing test methods and equipment for ensuring that the electronics fulfil our requirements throughout the lifecycle of the product. As we are now facing a technological shift, both within vehicle technology and testing methods, one of your duties will be to advance test development for these new embedded systems.
For this field of technology, you will also have to keep up to date with new technologies and methods and be able to convey this knowledge to the rest of the organisation.
Anything you aren’t proficient in initially, we’ll teach you with the aid of our senior employees.
You should have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or have a few years’ work experience in a similar post, or you will be a recent graduate with an interest in testing and verification.
If you are that person, we can promise you an interesting and rewarding job.
We look forward to receiving your application.
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer Scania employees other benefits, such as an employee car, performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania Jobexpress.
