SSPA is growing in the segment maritime infrastructure development, where we are active in simulations of dynamical systems, 2D & 3D visualization, GIS big data, SaaS (Software as a Service) and we are now looking for a software engineer to our office in Gothenburg.
You will develop and use our various simulation and analysis tools, develop mathematical models and our software system. We operate in Windows, Linux, cloud (Azure) and just to mention few more buzz words to catch your interest; Containerized microservices, DevOps, VCS workflow design, Dependency management.
You will be part of a small, experienced and skilled simulation team, working on both inhouse development of our methods, tools and systems as well as being part of and deliver projects to our external customers. To be successful in this position you have a genuine interest in software architecture & system design and computer-based simulations of complex, dynamic events in the marine environment, as well as having strong programming skills (Python / C++ / JS / html).
You most likely have a Bachelor´s or master’s in software engineering, computer science or equivalent and some years’ experience within software development.
