We are now looking for a Software Engineer with experience of product development who wants to join this exciting and potentially lucrative venture. Placement in Stockholm.
The product under development is a fully integrated residential solar energy and storage system which includes solar photovoltaic panels, lithium-ion batteries, an inverter, processing and communication units and other balance of system components. The product is intended to compete on price with grid-based electricity and other residential energy solutions based on solar plus storage. Beyond powering peoples’ homes, we will develop software which can connect and control many household appliances and systems to the product, to allow for smart home networks, data collection and additional service offerings.
You will work in close relation with the hardware development team on the requirement of chipset for control and readout of data, interact with third party Internet-of-things provider, develop for private and industrial user interface on different OS platforms. It includes setup and admin of large databases, backup system, programming of mesh networking, embedded software development.
You will be a team member working on the design, though we expect further recruitment in 2019. You will report directly to our Chief Engineer and work closely with the current project team with competence within business development, manufacturing, engineering and finance.
At least three years of experience from development of embedded software is required where knowledge of programming with IBM or AWS IoT platforms using C or JSON is an advantage. Experience of front-end UI development for different platforms is an extra advantage.

We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a keen interest in the global energy sector and new renewable energy solutions. To succeed in this position, you need to be closely familiar with product development and have knowledge of a project’s phases. Additionally, you have knowledge and deep understanding of industrial design and construction for volume and low- cost manufacturing. You have a graduate degree in engineering and a good understanding of electrical systems and components.
You need to have profound knowledge in documentation, be good in planning and following work schedules and to deliver work reports in time.
