Within Sales and Marketing, KRD is responsible for entering new markets. We are working with business development projects for establishing Scania in new markets in the world. Expanding Scania into new geographies is an important part of the Scania growth strategy.
You will be managing between 2-3 cross functional market entry projects. The entry scope covers the complete Scania portfolio as well as setting up the Scania organization locally according to the business case. You will be responsible for anchoring a project both internally and externally at all levels, including defining time plans and budgets as well as setting up cross functional teams. The execution phase of a project is extensive covering some 150 activities, advancing over preset delivery objects. You will also report to a steering group and its resource owners, as critical decision points are reached.
You will be responsible for the project’s commercial EBIT result. You are prepared to negotiate Scania business with the counterparty (often a private franchise holder and prominent private entrepreneur or a small Scania subsidiary). You contribute to the continuous improvement of working methods of a Scania new market entry, in order to raise our standard.
