You will be working in the Design Group based in Gothenburg but also close to our colleagues in Northern Ireland and Wales. The role requires occasional business travel to visit these and other sites as well as to suppliers.
Your work will include all product development phases from conceptual design to detailed design and supplier selection. This may include the design of: steel and welded structures, composite parts, control surfaces and its actuators, sensors and electronics integration. All design is done in Catia V5 and Enovia (PLM).
Typical duties would be:
- Develop and design subsystems of Minesto power plants
- Cooperate with, evaluate and lead suppliers
- Participate in product development for next generation designs
- MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Sub-sea design experience
- Skilled in CATIA V5
- Composite design experience
- Documentation skills
Minesto is an international company and it is important that you have a confident level of English. This position is based in Gothenburg and basic skills in Swedish is therefore beneficial but not a must.
