Sandvik Stainless Service is a new and rapidly expanding part of Sandvik Materials Technology. One of our most exciting areas is intelligent tube systems, where sensors inside the tube walls help our customers to monitor their processes and materials by measuring where previously impossible. The measurement data is stored in a cloud service and Sandvik's material specialists help the customer to analyze data from a material perspective.

Your mission

We are constantly developing a new business where technological development is the key to success. As a development leader IoT and digitalization, you ensure that the best technical solutions are developed and implemented. The work is done in cooperation with both internal and external parties, and you are responsible for constantly exploring new opportunities and relationships with the best players for different solutions.

The focus is development of the electronic and digital part of the intelligent tubes, such as sensor development, cloud solutions and electronic communications. It is important that you have a wide technical knowledge base so that you can externally acquire and control specialists with skills that complement your own. The job also includes participating in the promotion and sales of intelligent tube systems, such as visits to trade shows or potential customers.

You are part of a team for both technical development and design of our product and service offerings in order to expand our business in the field.

Some international travel is part of the job, location preferably Sandviken.

Your character

You have a degree in computer engineering or electronics, or equivalent knowledge through professional experience. In addition, you have at least five years of professional experience in any of the following areas: IoT, digitalization, cloud solutions, electronics development, strain and/or temperature measurement and sensor technology. Experience with Microsoft Azure as well as practical experience in developing sensor-controlled systems is a merit.
