As a design engineer within the group Cooling System, you will play an important role in developing the design of the cooling system in future Scania trucks. In future trucks the challenge will be to find solutions for minimizing energy losses and using available energy with systems such as hybridization and waste heat recovery, and at the same time making sure all components are kept at the ideal temperature ensuring optimal performance and durability with low cost, weight and noise. It will also be important to govern the Scania modularisation, in cooperation with truck manufacturer MAN. Together with teams of focused design and test engineers, you will help create and develop components for the cooling system. The group consists of thirteen engineers and one object manager who are located at the Scania Technical Centre in Södertälje.
